Healthcare Interactive CEO Invited to Present on SBA “Company Culture” Panel Discussion

Topic: Company Culture and Staffing in These Challenging Times

MINNEAPOLIS, September 7, 2021 — HealthCare Interactive, an edtech company dedicated to providing the highest quality caregiver training for Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other brain disorders, announced the participation of CEO and founder, John Hobday, in a Small Business Administration (SBA) panel discussion on company culture and how it relates to recruitment and retention in these challenging times.

The SBA Minnesota District Office is hosting this free online event, with the Entrepreneur Fund’s Women’s Business Alliance North’s Director, Sandi Larson, as moderator. Several small business owners in Minnesota who have created company cultures where both employees thrive and the bottom-line grows will participate as panelists, including:

  • Mercedes Austin, Mercury Mosaics – a manufacturer of custom tiles and mosaics
  • Kevin Brown, Smart Set – a design and print company
  • John Hobday, HealthCare Interactive – edtech company providing caregiver training for Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other brain disorders
  • Sam Peterson, Kyatchi – a Japanese restaurant with multiple locations

“I’m excited to join the panel,” said Hobday. “I had a personal experience in 2003 as part of a Rotary Club-sponsored business exchange to Norway that really changed my view of how companies can help best support employees—and how that is great for business! I am proud of the culture we’ve built at HCI and look forward to hearing everyone’s timely insights as many businesses are really struggling in the area of staffing at this time.”

The panel discussion will begin at 1:00 PM MDT on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, and is anticipated to run approximately 90 minutes.
