HealthCare Interactive, Inc. to Sponsor Alzheimer’s Associations Twin Cities Memory Walk

MINNEAPOLIS, MN—September 14th, 2008. HealthCare Interactive, Inc. (HCI) is happy to announce it will be a sponsor at the 2008 Alzheimer’s Association Twin Cities Memory Walk. HCI will be onsite during the walk distributing materials about its Savvy Caregiver DVD, a 4-DVD set for family caregivers based on research conducted at the University of Minnesota. The DVD is nationally recognized and has been shown in research to reduce caregiver distress (Hepburn, 2007). A drawing will be held for three memory walk participants to win a free copy of the DVD (a $49 value).

“We’re very excited to be involved with the Association’s Memory Walk this year and encourage other local companies to get involved and provide much-needed sponsorship to the Minnesota Chapter of the Association. This is an easy way we can all take action to end Alzheimer’s,” says John Hobday, the company’s CEO and Founder.

About Twin Cities Memory Walk and the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk is the Alzheimer’s Association’s signature event for awareness and fundraising. Since 1989, Memory Walk has raised more than $225 million to help fight Alzheimer’s and help those currently living with the disease.
