The Florida Department of Elder Affairs has formally approved the following special versions of CARES® to meet state dementia training requirements.

  • Assisted Living (ALF) Level I – Approval #: 9456 (Expires 1/31/2026)
  • Assisted Living (ALF) Level II – Approval #: 9457 (Expires 1/31/2026)
  • Home Health (2 hours) – Approval #: 9973 (Expires 2/28/2026)
  • Hospice (1 hour) – Please complete the DOEA 1-hour training.
  • Hospice (3 hours) – Approval #: 9592
  • Nursing Home (3 hours) – Approval #: NH 10493 (Expires 10/25/2027)
