The Florida Department of Elder Affairs has formally approved the following special versions of CARES® to meet state dementia training requirements.

  • Adult Day Care (1 hour):  Please complete the free DOEA 1-hour training.
  • Adult Day Care (3 hour):   #11371 (expires 11/10/2028)
  • Assisted Living (ALF) Level I:  #10124 (expires 5/31/2026)
  • Assisted Living (ALF) Level II:  #10125 (expires 5/31/2026)
  • Home Health (2 hour):  #9973 (expires 8/12/2026)
  • Hospice (1 hour):  Please complete the free DOEA 1-hour training.
  • Hospice (3 hour):  #11372 (expires 11/10/2028)
  • Nursing Home (3 hour):  #10493 (expires 10/25/2028)
